Dr. Goodjoin was born in New York City and grew up in the Bronx, NY. His love of science and math led him to the Bronx School of Science, where he developed an interest in medicine. Dr. Goodjoin earned his undergraduate degree at Harvard University and his medical degree from the University of California San Francisco. He then trained in internal medicine at the Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center in NYC and completed a fellowship in primary care at Johns Hopkins Medical Center in Baltimore.
Dr. Goodjoin continued his trek across America and worked for several years in Raleigh, NC and Norfolk, VA. In North Carolina, he augmented his clinical practice, serving as a Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He ultimately settled in Atlanta, GA and brings extensive clinical expertise and experience to Gwinnett Clinic.
