Dr. Deep Shah was born in Atlanta, GA and grew up in the metro area. He graduated valedictorian and student body co-president of Greater Atlanta Christian (GAC) in Norcross. Dr. Deep then attended the University of Georgia (UGA), where he graduated summa cum laude. At UGA, he won a Rhodes Scholarships to study at Oxford. Dr. Deep then went to Harvard Medical School. There, he was awarded a Soros Fellowship and received the Primary Care Student Achievement Award. He decided to return home and train at Emory University School of Medicine in internal medicine. Dr. Deep was named Outstanding Resident for all three years of his residency.
He is proud to take care of patients in his hometown and is an active member of the health policy community in Georgia with the American College of Physicians and Georgians for a Healthy Future.
